Commission a portrait
A commissioned portrait is a collaboration. You bring the person, pet or moment that matters; I bring the time, the materials and the care to turn it into something lasting.
How it works
Step 1: Inquiry
Tell me who or what you'd like painted, your preferred medium and size, and any deadline. I reply within two working days.
Step 2: Reference photos
You send a few clear, well-lit photos. I'll help you choose the best ones, or arrange a sitting if you're nearby.
Step 3: Sketch approval
I send a composition sketch for your feedback. Changes at this stage are free and unlimited.
Step 4: Creation
I paint or draw your piece, sharing a progress photo halfway through.
Step 5: Delivery
Your finished piece is signed, varnished or sealed, carefully packed and shipped, or ready to collect.

Turnaround: 3–6 weeks from sketch approval
Oil painting
On stretched canvas or linen. Price includes one subject; add 40% per extra person or pet.
